Livestock producers from across the Hunter, Manning & Great Lakes are invited to join this guided bus tour showcasing the benefits of managed grazing systems including beef cattle, sheep, pigs and pasture fed egg production enterprises.

The two day trip will visit three innovative farming enterprise and you can network with specialists in sustainable agricultural practice

ITINERARY:

  1. Urandagie Station, Guyra - Bill & Jacqui Perrottet TECHNO GRAZING
  2. Kenilworth, Guyra - Derek & Fiona Smith WORKING WITH NATURE
  3. Lana, Uralla - Tim Wright  HOLISTIC / ROTATIONAL GRAZING

Joining Local Land Services staff for the tour, we welcome:

Dr Judi Earl – Specialist managed grazing systems / Ag & Information Monitoring Systems

Dr Bernard Doube – Dung Beetle & Soil Health expert, Dung Beetle Solutions International

BUSES Depart early Monday 4 June, from  Taree, Paterson & Merriwa

PICK-UP in Singleton, Muswellbrook, Scone

OVERNIGHT in Armidale returning Tuesday 5 June

Limited places - target audience is beef producers with 40+ breeders *

Participants cover own accommodation, breakfast and evening meal costs

FREE bustransport, morning teas & lunches
